Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Camps, Sunday Academy and sessions

Camp, Sunday Academy and one-to-one session bookings are paid in advance to secure a limited place, and are generally non-refundable once confirmed.

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the scheduled session or camp may be considered for a refund or credit at our discretion, assessed case by case.

Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled session or camp are non-refundable, and no refund is issued for non-attendance.

Because these are leisure and event services provided on specific dates, the 14-day cooling-off right that applies to some online purchases does not apply to them under Irish and EU consumer law.

2. Weather and circumstances beyond our control

If a camp or session is cancelled due to extreme weather, venue unavailability or other circumstances beyond our control, we may reschedule the session or offer a credit toward a future camp or session. Cash refunds are not normally provided in these circumstances unless required by law.

3. Apparel and physical goods

For physical goods bought through our shop, you have a statutory right under Irish and EU consumer law to cancel within 14 days of receiving the item and return it unused, for a refund. Return postage is the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty.

If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Please contact info@athleteacademy.ie within a reasonable time of receiving the item.

4. Pre-order items

Pre-order items are charged at the time of order and dispatched within the estimated timeframe shown on the product page. If we cannot meet the estimated dispatch window and you no longer wish to wait, you may cancel your pre-order for a full refund. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

5. Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They are valid for 5 years from the date of issue.

6. How to request a refund or raise an issue

Contact info@athleteacademy.ie with your order number or booking details and we will respond as quickly as we can. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
