Four mornings of focused rugby for girls aged 12 to 16, run with Railway Union RFC in Sandymount. Aimee Clarke leads the camp, supported by current Irish U20 and AIL players, with drop-in sessions from current professionals across the week.

Dates: 17, 18, 20 and 21 August 2026 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). 
Time: 10am to 1pm each morning.
Venue: Railway Union RFC, Sandymount.
Ages: girls 12 to 16.

Across the week the girls also get strength and conditioning with a focus on correct technique, and a sports nutrition workshop on fuelling for training.

Price: €190 for the four-day block.

  • Monday — Attack & conditioning

    Catch-pass fundamentals, attacking shapes, support lines, kicks and decision making under pressure.

  • Tuesday — Defence & conditioning

    Tackle technique, rucking, defensive alignment, poaching, backfield coverage and exits.

  • Thursday — Games & decision making

    Small-sided games, attacking scenarios, game awareness and high-tempo matches.

  • Friday — Position-specific & tournament

    Position coaching for backs and forwards, then a camp-wide round robin to finish.

Camp FAQs

What age is the camp for?

Girls aged 12 to 16.

What time does it run?

10am to 1pm each morning, on 17, 18, 20 and 21 August. Wednesday the 19th is a rest day.

Where is it?

Railway Union RFC, Sandymount, Dublin 4.

What should my child bring?

Boots, a gum shield, plenty of water, waterproof kit. A small snack for the break is a good idea.

What happens if it rains?

Camp goes ahead in normal weather. If extreme weather forces a cancellation, we'll reschedule or offer a credit.

What's your refund policy?

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the camp can be refunded or moved to another week. Inside 14 days, places are non-refundable, though in exceptional cases (injury or illness with a medical certificate) we may offer a credit. Full terms are on our refund policy page.
